This book features issues involving the indigenous peoples in Malaysia and New Zealand, presenting multidisciplinary perspectives from scholars of different academic and researcher background. Chapter from New Zealand scholars emphasize on capitalizing the indigenous cultural strengths to contribute to new direction of philosophy on governance both at local and global level. Chapters written by Malaysian scholars, focusing on the Orang Asli in Malaysia, highlight issues faced by the communities which require urgent attention at national level.
